The raw numbers, in terms of the female advantage in graduation rates and college attendance, are undeniable. Gender differences in graduation go along with more boys dropping out. Many reports that are full of information about differences by race don't say a word about gender differences in graduation rates. But there they are at a 5% to 10% level of more girls graduating than boys. As Robert Dole once famously said, "Where's the outrage?" I am amazed that they even put those figures in the report.
