		<description>The comments are interesting. There is a lot of misinformation and sloganeering out there and a complete lack of knowledge of historical enrollment patterns or concerns about them. It is encouraging to see a couple of female academics, including at least one with some administrative experience, making the case that it is important to educate both men and women because we need an educated citizenry. Even the argument that the problems begin much earlier in the educational pipeline was made.</description>
