This New York Times column lays out more details but never answers my question: If you look around the classroom and point out that two thirds of the students are female, can you call bingo?

Wait, something tells me that’s not what they have in mind.

This headline from today’s Chronicle: “Professors who can come up with examples of at least three types of gender bias in the workplace can declare bingo and win a T-shirt.”
